Just a quick post today about calculating nutritional content...
I've had a few people ask me how I get nutritional info for recipes. There are lots of online resources with this type of info, but some of them can be a bit sketchy and less than accurate. I've found the best (and most reliable) resource is CalorieKing (click on the link to pull up the website). They claim to have nutritional info for over 50,000 foods, with data on calories, fat, carbs, fiber, and other nutrients. I generally try to double-check info by looking at the labels on my ingredients, but CalorieKing is a safe bet for calculating just how healthy (or unhealthy) a recipe might be.
